The Glutton of Saratek

Deep in the swamplands of Torre is an ancient temple of Saratek, once
home to the Ascetic Order. These philosophers abstained from all pleasure,
learning from the wisdom of the Sphinx, Hendron the Great. Now their
teaching are corrupted by the followers of Trinkoteples, the Glutton.

The summer is long and tepid. Flies fill the afternoon, waiting for a breeze
that never comes. Beneath the mangroved hilltop are the ruins of a temple
and a gaping cave guarded by a fattened sphinx.
